Each swell has a translucent outer shape tracing the peak and a denser bright center showing how much of that slice held sound: the fullest swells are the ones worth playing. Color names the signal, matching the bars (rose for snoring, cream for sleep talking, pale purple for breathing disruptions, cyan for a gasp, green for a cough), and apricot marks a sound the app counted without naming. Bars cover clock-aligned slices, 5 minutes on a short night stretching to 10 or 15 on a longer one, and each bar's height is the average loudness of the snoring inside it rather than its peak.
