Why Snore Timeline is free
Your sleep shouldn't come with a monthly bill.
No subscription, no ads, no account. I build Snore Timeline on my own. If it helped you, you can chip in once, any amount, and nothing renews.
Chip in onceWhat I believe
-
You should own the tools you use every night.
Most snore and sleep apps I've compared charge $40 to $60 a year. Stop paying and the features stop too. A recorder that runs on your phone and saves files to your phone has no reason to rent itself back to you.
-
Software keeps getting cheaper to make.
The tools I build with have changed fast. Work that once needed a team now fits in one person's evenings. Billing every user forever for that work makes less sense each year.
-
There's no server bill to pass on.
Your recordings never reach a server of mine. Every detection runs on your phone, so a new user costs me nothing to host. A price that grows with you would be pure margin.
-
Health data is no business model.
No account means no email list, no profile, and nothing to sell. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and that's the whole policy.
-
Pay once, or pay nothing.
Some software makers have gone back to selling apps for a single payment with no renewal. I went one step further. Every feature is free for everyone. If the app helped you, you choose whether to pay and how much.

Where tips go
- Every feature stays free. Full-night audio, exports, Snore Nudge, and the Smart Wake Up Alarm.
- Watches to test on. Tips buy the wearables I test with, so wrist taps and health data keep working as new watches come out and their apps change.
- New features. Recent updates added vibration nudges and custom alarm sounds.
- Your language. The app and this site come in 23 languages.
